School History

Red House School has an illustrious history originating in 1929. The distinctive red brick building of the Prep. & Senior School has been a familiar and much-loved landmark of Norton Green since the early part of the 20th Century.

Today, the School has developed and expanded to include additional classrooms, extra teaching laboratories, state of the art ICT facilities and excellent facilities to play sport at the highest level.

Yet, at the heart of the thriving School complex, is the familiar red brick School house, which still has a commanding position overlooking Norton Green.

Red House School has a rich and fascinating history. The School History download below, charts the beginnings of Red House and follows its development into a School with an enviable academic reputation and well known to all for its traditional and caring, family environment.
