Red House Preparatory and Senior Independent School is situated in the historic red-brick manor house overlooking picturesque Norton Green. Preparatory School (Ages 8-13 years)

Red House Preparatory School provides a high quality education within a distinctive warm, family, friendly atmosphere, providing a platform for personal development and academic achievements that stays with the boys and girls throughout their school life and beyond.

The Preparatory School aims to produce high quality work in each subject and introduce school pupils to a wide range of sports and extra curricular activities. Providing exciting challenges helps Red House boys and girls to realise their academic potential with the encouragement and support of dedicated staff and a pastoral programme for which Red House is renowned.

Senior School (Ages 13-16 years)

Building upon Preparatory School foundations, pupils at Red House Senior School mature into confident young people enjoying challenges and success in academic work. Small class sizes enable focused individual support, so that pupils can achieve their maximum potential. Consequently, Red House has achieved excellent GCSE results, outperforming all other Independent schools in the Tees Valley from 2001 to 2005 (Times League). But education is not just about GCSE grades. At Red House School, we aim to develop the whole person by offering a wide choice of co-curricular activities both during school time and after school, and on school trips during the holidays. Pupils are exposed to a wide range of educational opportunities which enriches and develops the individual child.
