Arnie Armadillo Visits Red House

As part of a road safety awareness campaign, Nursery, Reception and Year 1 pupils met  Arnie Armadillo, Stockton Borough Council's road safety mascot. After a ten minute presentation, highlighting the risks involved in crossing the road, Arnie delighted pupils by popping out from behind the display props as part of a surprise visit! To the delight of the pupils, Arnie joined in the road safety presentation, personally escorting children across the makeshift pedestrian crossing which had been set up in the Barn. Children were given some excellent advice and presented with road safety packs which contained lots of fun activities and advice for parents too.
