Caribbean Experience
Pupils and staff enjoyed a spot of Caribbean cuisine as part of a series of themed menu days at the Prep. & Senior School. Alongside Red House kitchen staff, Roger Anderson, a talented chef from new caterers HOST, created a selection of authentic Caribbean dishes. Choices from the colourful menu included Dutch pot chicken with rice and peas, dumplings with savoury beans or fish fritters, followed by a delicious mango tart.
This is the first of several themed cookery days, which will give children the chance to sample a range of international dishes. The next event, which features Chinese cuisine, will be held on February 12th 2010.
