Year 1

As part of their English work on instructional writing, Year 1pupils visited Pizza Express at Teesside Park for a literacy workshop with an Italian theme. Following theor own recipe instructions, the children had great fun making their very own dough balls, pizzas and tasting the different vegetables, herbs and seasonings. Once the ingredients were prepared, the pizzas and doughballs were cooked in the traditional 'Pizza Express' way before being served to the team of hungry Year 1 pupils. Enjoying the delicious pizzas for tea was definately the highlight of the day.
