Harvest Festival 2008
During Harvest Festival pupils from the Nursery & Infant School created wellingtons from a variety of different materials in aid of Farm Africa, a charity that works with poor African farmers. The 'Give Poverty a Boot' wellingtons created a very colourful display in the reception area of the Nursery & Infant School.
By purchasing a wellington template, children raised a total of £57. Including donations collected during the Harvest Festival, a total of £693 was raised. Well done to everyone involved.
Below are a few examples of some of the colourful wellington boots created by the children.
