Important Parental Announcement

You may be aware of the announcement of several cases of swine flu over the last few weeks at Teesside High School and the recent reopening of this school. Following local and national advice, Red House will remain open but I would remind you that contingency plans have been made in the event that the school does have to close.  These plans can be found on the school website (page 7 of the Parental Handbooks), hard copies may be obtained from either school office.

The children are continuing to be reminded of the need to use a tissue or their hands when coughing or sneezing, to wash their hands and avoid hand to mouth contact.

 If your child shows signs of flu, in particular a sudden fever and sudden cough, please keep them off school and consult your General Practitioner.
