Fireworks in the sky

Dear Parents

Bag2School: Tuesday 4 November

The PTA is, once again, running this campaign where you are able to support their fundraising efforts whilst ridding yourself of unwanted clothing.  Collection bags have been sent home with the children today, although you can use a pain refuse sack should you wish to do so.  Further details can be found here.

PTA Fireworks Night: Friday 8 November

Please don’t forget to reserve your tickets for this excellent evening which is at the end of the first week back after half term.  The booking form can be found here.

Nursery/Reception Stay & Play: Thursday 28 November

I would like to remind you of our Stay & Play event for prospective families after half term. This is a great opportunity for friends or family members, with children aged 2-4 years old, to come and experience an afternoon in our Nursery. They will also be able to visit our Reception class and tour the Junior School. Please encourage any families that may be interested to get in touch and book a place.  For further information, please click here

CEO Sleepout

We’ve nearly reached our (first) target of £1,000 and Red House is the third largest contributor so far.  Many thanks to those families who have supported us thus far.  If you would like to help us to provide essential care for the homeless locally, the link to the sponsorship page is here.  Alternately, cash donations can be left at either school office.

I hope you have a lovely wonderful half term and manage to make happy memories with the children.  I’m popping over to Australia to see friends after an absence of over two years.  No doubt how much I enjoy myself will be determined by the outcome of the rugby match tomorrow morning!

With best wishes

Ken James
