It was wonderful to see so many of you supporting the fashion show last week. I was impressed by the art on display and it was wonderful to see the children of all ages on the catwalk. My thanks to the staff and PTA for organising this great event.
If you would like to buy a DVD of the event, please find ordering details attached. I hope many of you will because the funds raised go directly towards treats for the children.
Holiday Club & Sports Camp
Attached are details of the events being run over the Easter holidays. Mrs Kears will be running Sports Camp and Mrs Gemma Fryett will be running Holiday Club. Mrs Fryett joined us at half term and will now be taking responsibility for Holiday Club throughout the year. As a qualified Art teacher, she has a number of ideas as to how we can improve our provision and I look forward to working with her to do so.
Twilight Tours: Thursday 9 May
Traditionally, we have had an Open Morning in the Summer Term. However, we have decided to try something different this year and, rather than hosting another Saturday morning event, we are holding Twilight Tours on a Thursday afternoon after school. We’d love the children to help us out once again so please try and keep this date free. There will also be an extra Bugsy Malone rehearsal then too.
We’ve had a rather frenzied week with a flurry of interest in places for September. Whilst disappointment in state school allocations has been the catalyst for most, almost all families talk of personal recommendations from Red House families. Thank you for this and keep them coming.
With best wishes
