Red House pupil stood painting a picture in Nursery

Dear Parents,

I’m very much looking forward to the bank holiday although it does seem a rather sedentary start to the term: three weeks and two bank holidays.  No doubt Year 11 do not agree with me as they prepare for their final week at Red House.

Fashion Show DVDs
We’ve had a few last minute requests for DVDs.  Monday is the final deadline should you require one.  Please send your requests into school using the form available here.

PTA Ball
This event is nearly upon us and we’re looking forward to welcoming many of you next Friday.  There is still a limited amount of space should you – or a group of you – wish to attend.  Please do contact, Lesley, Chair of the PTA, if you would like further information: lwratten@no-sour-business.co.uk

If you cannot make the Ball, you can still support the PTA by purchasing raffle tickets.  A form is available should you wish to do so, available here.

Stay & Play: Thursday 9 May
It’s a busy week next week and we’re fitting a lot into four days.  On Thursday it is our Nursery Stay & Play event.  Please encourage friends with children between the ages of 2 and 4 to come and spend the afternoon with us.  Places can be booked by contacting Mrs Green or Mrs Bellerby.

Twilight Tours: Thursday 9 May
We’re looking forward to welcoming prospective pupils to both sides of the pond for our Twilight Tours.  The Junior School tours are between 4-6pm with the Senior School tours being between 4.30-6.30pm.  Many thanks for promoting this venture and for facilitating the children remaining in school.

Festival of Achievement & Prizegivings: Friday 12 July
These will all take place on the final day of term and the timings will be as follows:

Years 1-4: 9.15am; Years 5 & 6: 11.15am; and Years 7-10: 2.30pm.  All the events will take in the Senior School Hall and we’ve learnt from previous years: air conditioning is being fitted over half term.

With best wishes
