It’s been a long week…for me and the children and staff who visited London last weekend. It was worth it, however, and the children enjoyed the many attractions we visited. Be warned: the London Bridge experience is not for the faint hearted!
Parent Teacher Meetings
Attached are various letters letting you know dates of our parent teacher meetings. However, should there be issues which arise before these dates, please always feel free to contact your child’s class teacher (Nursery – Year 5) or tutor (Years 6-11). Quite often it helps to deal with concerns sooner rather than later and we’re very much here to support the children.
The AGM for the PTA is on Wednesday 3 October at 7pm in the Barn and I look forward to seeing many of you there. Please can I encourage parents to support and join the PTA. You do not have to commit to help at all events and ‘many hands make light work’. At the moment we are reliant on a few people for the benefit of all the children. New help would be really appreciated and further details are enclosed.
Attached is a letter from the Child Immunisation Team addressed to parents with children in Reception up to and including Year 5. The team will be visiting school and immunising children whose parents have given consent. Please note this consent must be given by 28 September and you need to use the code which is displayed on the letter.
Open Morning – 29 September
Please continue to promote this important event for us; sharing on social media – rather than just liking – really helps. We’re hoping for a bumper turnout!
With best wishes
