Dear Parents

Thank you for coming to our little gathering last night.  It was a wonderful occasion and a fitting way to celebrate 90 years of excellence.  No doubt many of our children under 6 will be even more excited when we celebrate our centenary!

PTA Golf Day – Saturday 28 September

I hope many of you will be able to support this event which should appeal to the whole family.  Further details can be found here and completed forms should be returned to either school office by Friday 20 September.

Senior School European Cake Off – Thursday 26 September

We’re going to celebrate the European Day of Languages (26th September) and support the Macmillan Coffee Morning, by holding a European Cake Off!  Pupils in Years 5 to 11 who wish to participate should either bake a cake using a traditional European recipe or decorate a cake to represent a European country.  The cakes should be brought into school on Thursday 26 September at the latest in order to be judged and sold at break-time to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Please be aware that we are a nut-free school.

Open Morning

Many thanks to those pupils and parents who are helping to make today a success.  Should your friends be unable to make the event, please ask them to contact Claire Bellerby in Admissions to organise a personal tour.  We’re very flexible and always keen to show people around our lovely school.

With best wishes
