A group of Red House School pupils dressed up in aid of World Book Day

Dear Parents,

It’s been a very busy week.  Egg decorating, mosaic making and Red House Has Got Talent are just a few of the activities which have taken place.  I think we all need a rest!

Readathon
This is very much under way now in the Senior School.  The three weeks over Easter is an ideal opportunity for pupils to read for pleasure and secure lots of sponsorship.  We will be collecting the sponsorship money in on the first Tuesday (23 April) after the Easter holidays.  Many thanks for the encouragement you are giving the children and for your sponsorship too.

World Book Day
It was wonderful to see the children celebrating this day and we also raised £310 too.  Thank you for your support.

PTA Ball
Should you still wish to buy tickets for the ball, please contact Leslie Wratten, Chair of the PTA, at LWratten@no-sour-business.co.uk  We only have a couple of tables left and a few spaces on other tables.  We’d all love to see you there!

Mrs Coverdale
I would like to extend our best wishes to Rebecca Coverdale who starts her maternity leave at the end of term.  She’s a wonderful teacher and will be missed.  No doubt she’ll be a wonderful mum too!  We look forward to welcoming Mrs Laonie Butler next term.

I hope you manage a little time away with the children over Easter.  The sports’ tour is also heading off to Holland – let’s hope they see much success.

With best wishes
