It was lovely to lead the assembly in the Junior School this week. The theme was kindness although I suspect some of the children thought it was all about dominoes! There’s been a lot of ‘shushing’ in the Senior School. It’s exam week and we’re trying to give the Year 11s their best chance to do well; I hope stress levels are low and achievements high.
Red House is undertaking its biennial tour to Holland Tour. Forty pupils will be playing hockey and netball against a number of clubs and schools. Last time some parents organised sponsorship to subsidise the tour clothing for the children and there is the opportunity to do so once again. Should you know anyone who might be able to help, please drop me a line.
The children in the Junior School have contributed artwork for the t-towel now on display in Reception. Many thanks to the PTA for co-ordinating this venture. A form is attached (and should have come home in book bags) telling you how to order them. An ideal Christmas present?

A number of pupils joined us last week and enjoyed all that is Red House. It’s heartening to know that Year 7 for next September is almost full. I look forward to starting a waiting list! Numbers are also healthy for Year 7 in September 2020; please encourage your friends to come and see us sooner rather than later.
Have a lovely weekend.
With best wishes
