Local primary school children gather together in the Red House School Hall to take part in the Primary Maths Challenge

I’ve been surrounded by spots, stripes and pyjamas all day.  It’s been lovely to see the children supporting Children in Need and I’m sure we’ll be forwarding a decent amount of money to this worthy cause in due course.

Sports Camp & Holiday Club

Forms are attached for the end of this term/the beginning of next.  We’ve also attached proposed programmes to help children and parents make decisions.

Norton Sports Charity

We work very closely with the Sports Charity throughout the year – using their astroturf, other sports facilities and their forest school.  We’d love our community to support their Community Clubhouse Refurbishment in the AVIVA Community Fund awards.  This can be done by following the link: https://tinyurl.com/ya4sr55c

Wynyard Hall Christmas Fayre

It was lovely to see a number of you at the Fayre over the last couple of days.  The children also sang beautifully yesterday; a real credit to Red House.  Sarah (Head of Marketing) and Claire (Head of Admissions) will be looking after the stall for the next few days so please feel free to drop by and say hello.

Junior Language Challenge

Three of our pupils in Year 6 reached the finals of this national competition and performed brilliantly on the day.  In addition to learning Spanish and Khmer earlier on in the year, they had to learn Kinyarwanda for the finals. Many congratulations to Francesca Dwarakanath and George Craggs on their top twenty finish and to Joshua Heer who finished fifth overall.
