Last Friday Courage the Cat and Tom visited the Nursery and Infant School to entertain the children and tell them about this year’s Mission Christmas appeal. The School has supported this charity for many years’ providing presents for children and teenagers who might not otherwise receive anything.

As part of the visit children were asked ‘what was their favourite thing about Christmas’ as part of an interview to be aired on the radio.  I was also asked to take part and relayed the message that, in taking part in the appeal, children learn that Christmas is about giving as well as receiving and that not all children will be as fortunate as they are on the big day.

Thank you to all those parents who have, with their children, assisted in supporting this appeal.
