My final email before Christmas, I promise.
My previous email confirmed that Years 7-10 will be taught remotely for the first week of the spring term, with all other year groups returning to school. However, there is much discussion in the press about another lockdown and whether this will impact on all pupils. I have no further information than you but we will plan for every eventuality.
Just in case a further lockdown does occur, perhaps Santa could pop some stationery in Christmas stockings? Please ensure you have sufficient lined and plain paper in the house, plus the usual pencil case items.
We appreciate not all pupils will have all their books at home and we will plan accordingly.
Let’s hope this is an unnecessary precaution. I’m now going to focus on family not emails and I hope you can do so too. I know some of you will be supporting the national effort as key/critical workers over the festive period. Thank you for your wonderful work; we really do appreciate it.
With best wishes
