Dear Parents

I would like to make you aware that the Governors at Red House School have begun discussions with Teesside High School regarding a possible merger.

We believe now is the right time to explore the concept of merging and working together to ensure a strong and healthy future for independent schooling north of the River Tees.

The Governors believe that the friendly relationship and common ethos of the two schools makes such talks viable and eminently worthwhile. We truly believe that this is a positive step forward. We are committed to ensuring small class sizes, outstanding teaching and a diverse range of
co-curricular activities.

These talks are at a very early stage but please be aware that if any significant developments occur I will inform parents as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

Mr Vinay Bedi
Chair of School Council
