As part of our Easter activities, the children will be decorating Easter Eggs on Monday 21st March. Your child will require a hard boiled / polystyrene / plastic egg, together with materials for decorating and displaying the egg. Maximum size of display is A4. Glue, felt pens and scissors will be available in school. These items need to be in school no later than the morning of Monday 21st March. Please note no preparation work should be done at home before the day, although your child is encouraged to plan their design and think of a name for their egg.
The eggs will be judged and prizes will be awarded on the afternoon of Monday 21st March. The prize winning designs will be displayed in the entrance hall.
On Tuesday 22nd March we shall be holding a variety of Easter activities in School, several of which are being organised and funded by the PTA. We are delighted that Liz Million, the children’s book illustrator, will be joining us for the day. She will be holding workshops with the children showing them her skills and explaining how she creates her characters.
