25th September 2015
Dear Parent,
Harvest Service 2015
Our Harvest Festival will take place in St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday 7th October at 9.15am.
All parents are invited to join us for the Harvest Service. Nursery pupils will not be attending the service. We ask that you do not bring very young children to the service as they have in the past disturbed the service and distracted the pupils when they are reading.
This year we have chosen to support the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust is a Christian charity that does not affiliate itself with any political party and receives no government funding. Its food banks provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in the UK. Our local food bank is in Billingham. We would be grateful of any donations of food items from the list below. Please place items in the box in the entrance foyer.
