29th April 2016
The Nursery & Infant School Pupil Council members have chosen to support two charities this term, namely:
- The Unicorn Centre, a registered charity, which offers riding therapy and learning and training opportunities for over 200 disabled adults and children from the Tees Valley area. www.rdaunicorncentre.co.uk
- Zoës Place which provides palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years old suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. zoes-place.org.uk
We shall be holding a ‘Jogathon’ on Thursday 26th May on the school field at 2.30pm to which you are welcome to come and watch. Children may bring fancy dress to school on the Thursday morning to change into after lunchtime for the event.
We hope that you will be able to support your child by helping them to collect as many sponsors as possible on the attached form. Sponsorship forms need to be brought to school on the day of the event so they can be signed by the form teacher when the pupil has successfully completed the event. We appreciate that some families prefer to make a donation instead of collecting sponsors, which of course is perfectly acceptable. All sponsorship money / donations should be handed to Mrs Green by Friday 10th June.
Thank you in anticipation of your support.
Mr S Haywood
Assistant Head of Nursery & Infant School
