Dear Parents,

Nursery visit to Saint Mary’s Church, Norton.

Nursery children will be visiting Saint Mary’s Church, Norton on Tuesday 25th November as part of their topic on ‘Festivals and Celebrations’. They will have the opportunity to tour the church, meet Reverend Martin Anderson, and look at important Christmas artefacts. The children will depart school at 10.30am and will return to school in time for lunch.

The children should wear their school uniform and outdoor coat. The children will wear either shoes or wellington boots depending upon the weather on the day. Pupils are expected to demonstrate excellent behaviour at all times and to follow instructions given by both the accompanying adults.

Mr McKay will lead the visit and will be accompanied by other nursery staff. Pupils are covered under the school’s insurance policy. A full risk assessment has been undertaken by the leader. A qualified first aider will be accompanying the trip. There will be no charge for this trip.

Please complete the attached consent form and return to Mrs Green by Wednesday 19th November.

Please ensure if your child suffers from Asthma or severe allergic reactions their inhaler/medication/epipen is in school, if they do not have them, they will be unable to go on the trip.
