Dear Parents,

Nursery visit to Eaglescliffe Forest School.

Nursery children will be visiting Eaglescliffe Forest School, Stockton on Wednesday 16th March as part of their topic on ‘Dragons and Castles’. The children will explore stories and role play in the outside environment. The children will depart school at 9.20am (Compass Royston Coach) and will return to school for 3pm.

For the trip the children will need the following items:

  • Trainers with good grips or wellington boots (depending on the weather)
  • Warm socks
  • Tracksuit bottoms
  • School t-shirt
  • School sweatshirt
  • Waterproof coat (school coat)
  • Over trousers
  • School hat
  • Gloves (not mittens please)

Mr McKay will lead the visit and will be accompanied by other nursery staff and parent volunteers. If you are able to volunteer, please complete the slip below and return to Miss Everington via the school office. Pupils are covered under the School’s insurance policy. A full risk assessment has been undertaken by the leader. A qualified first aider will be accompanying the trip. The cost of £14 will be added to next term’s fees. Please could you ensure that the appropriate medication is given to Mr McKay on the day if your child suffers from asthma or severe allergic reactions, as without this they will not be allowed to go on the trip. Pupils are expected to demonstrate excellent behaviour at all times and to follow instructions given by the accompanying adults and centre staff. A packed lunch and snack will be supplied by school.
