Paris Visit, Years 7-10, Saturday 11th – Thursday 16th July, 2015

Dear Parents

I am planning a five day visit to France for pupils in Years 7-10 during the first week of the summer holidays, from Saturday 11th –Wednesday 16th July, 2015. We are going to be travelling to France by coach, which will remain with us throughout the trip.

We will be staying in the Hotel Campanile Bobigny (304, AVENUE PAUL-VAILLANT COUTURIER 93000 BOBIGNY), a 3 star hotel approximately 5 kilometres from the centre, which is well-located for exploring the sights of Paris. Pupils will share 4 bedded rooms with bath/shower and toilet.

In Paris, we will visit the most famous sights and we will enjoy a cruise on the river Seine. We will also visit Monet’s garden in Giverny, the stade de France and the Palace of Versailles. Moreover, a full day will be spent in Disneyland Paris.

During the visit your son/daughter will be encouraged to use their knowledge of French in real situations and to look around the places they visit more discerningly; to share experiences; to bond; and to see the world in a whole new light. We will be travelling through the NST Travel Group ltd which is an Assured Member of the School Travel Forum (STF), an awarding body for the prestigious Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge and the benchmark provider for good school tours.

The cost of the trip, including transport, accommodation, meals, all entrance fees and insurance, is £620. The only additional costs would be your child’s passport, pocket money and money for lunch in Disneyland.

If you would like your child to participate, please complete the form below and return it to me together with a cheque for £200, by Friday 12th September. Cheques should be made payable to Red House School Ltd. Please note that money may not be refunded if at a later date if your son/daughter is unable to attend and the School is unable to fully recover the amount paid to the trip organiser.

Our trip to France is always very popular and places will be reserved strictly in order of receipt of deposits.

Yours faithfully
