Dear Parents,

Year 3 visit to the Shri Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Thornaby

Year 3 pupils, as part of their RS studies on Sikhism, will be visiting the Gurdwara on Wednesday 25th June from 11am – 12 noon. They will be given a tour of the Gurdwara and a talk on Sikhism.

We shall depart at 10.40am and travel by school coach (M & D Travel) and return in time for lunch at 12.45pm. The children will wear their school uniform and blazer. Both the boys and the girls will need a long thin scarf to wear inside the building.

Pupils are expected to demonstrate excellent behaviour at all times and to follow instructions given both by the accompanying adults and adults at the Gurdwara.

Miss Everington, Mr Haywood & Mrs Reeves will accompany the trip. Miss Everington & Mr Haywood are qualified first aiders. Pupils are covered under the school’s insurance policy. A full risk assessment has been undertaken by the group leaders.

There will be a small charge of £3.75 which will be added to the next term’s fees. If you have recently changed your contact details, please ensure School has the appropriate information.

We endeavour to take photographs on as many school trips as possible, please visit our website, Facebook and twitter pages to see a selection of photographs.

Yours sincerely
