This term pupils in Year 7 will be covering the topic of “Seashore”. They will develop their studies of natural form shells using a technique of look, think and draw. To complement their studies and to help their research and evidence gathering we will be taking the children to the Blue Reef Aquarium, Tynemouth on Monday 25th January.
We will be leaving school at 8.45am prompt, using M&D Coaches. A packed lunch will be provided by school. We will return to school at approximately 3.30pm.
Normal School rules will apply, including the wearing of uniform and the prohibition of sweets and chewing gum. Staff will take a first aid kit with them, and there are first aid facilities
at the aquarium. Please ensure if your child suffers from asthma or severe allergic reactions their inhaler/medication/epipen is with them, if they do not have them, they will be unable to go on the trip.
The cost of the visit will be £10.00 which will be added to your summer term fee bill.
