16 September 2016
As part of the co-curricular programme I propose to take some pupils to Whitby on a field excursion to look for fossils. The excursion will be open to Year 6 and Year 7 pupils and I shall be accompanied by Mrs Spencer-Crabb. We will leave Red House School at 1-00pm on Saturday 24th September and return at approximately 6-00pm on the same day.
If your daughter/son is interested in attending this excursion then please complete the form below and return it to Mr Makin as soon as possible. Places will be allocated on a first come basis. Equipment details will be issued later.
I will be carrying a first aid kit as the nominated first aider. A full risk assessment has been undertaken by the group leaders. The trip will be subject to the conditions as set out in the Parent Contract, and will be covered by the school’s insurance policy. Please ensure if your child suffers from asthma or severe allergic reactions their inhaler/medication/epipen is in school, if they do not have them, they will be unable to go on the trip. Pupils are not allowed to bring any personal items such as personal stereos, mobile phones or cameras. We endeavour to take photographs on as many school trips as possible, please visit our website, facebook and twitter pages to view a selection of photographs.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries or questions on any aspect of the trip.
