Clothes Show Live N.E.C. Birmingham. Saturday 3rd Dec 2016
I am in the process of organising, in collaboration with Mr Wilkinson, a visit for pupils in Years 7 to Y11 to The Clothes Show Live.
The visit will take place on Saturday, 3rd December 2016. We will leave school via coach at around 6.00am and arrive at the NEC at around 10.00am. After spending the day at the show, we will leave the NEC at around 4.00pm, returning to school at roughly 8.00pm.
The minimum party number will be 30, but will be on a first come first served basis. Providing pupils are in groups of at least 3, pupils will be permitted to visit any areas of the exhibition they wish. A first aid kit will be carried on the coach and the medical services of the NEC will be available during the visit should they be needed. Pupils will each be provided with a contact card that will identify the ‘schools meeting point’ provided by the NEC, a floor plan of the exhibition halls, as well as telephone contact details of both the party leaders and School. Pupils are covered by the School’s insurance policy and a full risk assessment has been undertaken by the group leaders. The trip will be subject to the conditions as set out in the Parent Contract.
The cost for this visit will be £50. This cost covers entrance to the event, catwalk show tickets and transport. It does not cover meals and spending money – and eating at the NEC can be quite expensive! Pupils should dress for a day indoors in a busy exhibition hall. Pupils are able to take cameras, but this is obviously at their own risk. Photographs may be taken during the visit for use by the School in their marketing and publicity material.
If you would like your child to take part in the event, I would be grateful if you could complete the slip below, and return it to School with a cheque for £50.
