Dear Parents

This spring term in years 4 to 6 we have been thinking about the importance of a healthy diet and lifestyle in our PSHE lessons.  In particular we have been encouraging the children to make healthy choices at lunch ensuring that they eat fruit and vegetables.  We have discussed healthy alternatives for snacks at break time such as fruit or carrot sticks.

In order to provide an incentive for your child to make a healthy choice, your child will be rewarded with a sticker in their planner on a Friday.  In order to gain their sticker your child will need to eat at least one portion of fruit or vegetables at school at some point during each day of that week.
