Nursery & Junior School Enjoy Fire Safety Visit From Cleveland Fire Brigade

The visit offered pupils a hands-on experience that brought their learning to life. Firefighters spoke to pupils about fire safety, emergency procedures and the day-to-day responsibilities involved in keeping communities safe.

Pupils also had the chance to explore the fire engine up close, discovering the specialist tools and equipment used during real emergencies. They particularly enjoyed seeing some of the equipment in action and asking questions about life as a firefighter.

The session was both inspiring and informative, helping pupils develop a stronger understanding of safety while sparking curiosity about roles within the emergency services.
