Red House School has achieved an outstanding success at the regional VEX IQ Challenge, held at Nissan in Washington. A team of students from various year groups showcased exceptional skill, creativity, and teamwork, securing victory and qualifying for the National Championships in Telford.

Red House School Robotics Team Shines at Regional VEX IQ Challenge
Pupils dedicated countless hours to designing, building, and programming their robot for the VEX IQ Challenge. Their efforts paid off as the robot performed flawlessly throughout the competition, impressing both judges and fellow competitors.
From the very first round, it was clear that Red House’s robot stood out. Innovative design features and strategic engineering allowed the team to consistently outscore opponents, demonstrating the students’ ingenuity and technical expertise.
Nail-Biting Finals Secure Red House Victory
The final matches were intense, with Red House’s robot competing first. Despite the pressure, their performance remained unbeaten across eight subsequent matches, earning the team the title of event winners and marking a remarkable achievement for the school.
As this regional competition served as a qualifier, the team is now preparing for the National Championships in Telford. Excited by their success, students are already planning further improvements to an already highly successful robot, aiming for even greater achievements on the national stage.
