Red House Nursery and Infant School provides education for children aged 3 to 8. With a wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere created by caring and experienced staff, the Nursery and Infant School is set in extensive grounds adjacent to St. Mary’s Church. There is an ethos of mutual respect and consideration between all children and between children and staff. The School maintains close links with the Church where a weekly service is held on Wednesdays, as well as the school’s Harvest, Christmas and Easter Services.

Boys and girls are welcomed into Nursery on a full-time or part-time basis in the term in which they reach their third birthday. The purpose-built Nursery provides a secure, warm and friendly environment in which children can play and learn. With access to its own enclosed patio and garden the Nursery unit offers a safe and spacious environment and calm surroundings that help each individual child develop and grow.

Offering a high quality of education in all areas of school life, the professional, dedicated staff identify the individual requirements of each child and provide opportunities for all the children to develop their academic, social, physical and intellectual potential. Interactive white boards and a new ICT suite on the Infant School site ensure that ICT is an integral part of our pupils education from an early age. Children leave the Nursery and Infant School fully equipped for a smooth and successful transition to the Preparatory School.
