Red House Junior School provides education for boys and girls aged 3 to 10.

Our small class sizes provide a happy, caring and friendly environment where pupils flourish. Children are taught by highly qualified and dynamic class teachers with specialist teaching in music and sport. Our vibrant family atmosphere is a great strength and highly valued by children and parents. We enjoy challenging each other, working hard together and having plenty of fun!

Children are welcomed into our Nursery on a full-time or part-time basis in the term in which they reach their third birthday.

Our purpose-built Nursery provides a safe and relaxed atmosphere where children are able to have fun and be themselves. With access to its own beautiful enclosed garden, our Nursery provides a spacious, friendly and calm environment in which children can play and learn.

Our children benefit from all the wonderful facilities at the Junior School. We are proud to have our very own enchanted outdoor classroom, a stimulating environment full of adventures and exploration. We include elements of Forest School and cross curriculum activities to bring learning to life.

Our tranquil Zen Den allows children to practise techniques to build awareness of their minds and emotions. Learning how to be emotionally aware and building resilience are important skills, helping them throughout their educational journey and life beyond Red House.

We use digital technologies to engage pupils and spark their imaginations. Our spacious and modern ICT suite allows pupils to develop their digital literacy, ensuring they understand the technology and use it safely and effectively.

In their final years we start the important steps of preparing children for their transition to the Senior School.

From Years 3-4 sport is taught by teachers from the Senior School on the Junior School site. From Year 5 children have weekly lessons at the Senior School for both sport and music. This allows the children to become familiar with their new surroundings and teachers. Experience has taught us that this early introduction to Senior School life ensures a seamless transition.

Year 6 are based at the Senior School and benefit from specialist teaching in French, Design & Technology, Art, Music and Sport.
