Transition to the Senior School
Experience has taught us that an early introduction to Senior School life ensures a seamless transition.
We start the important steps of preparing children for their transition from Red House Junior School to our Senior School from Year 3.
From Year 3 our specialist Senior School sports teachers run weekly games lessons at the Junior School. From Year 4 and above weekly games lessons are held at the Senior School. By providing children with weekly sports lessons on our Senior School site, the children become familiar with their new surroundings and teachers.
As children progress through the Junior School they begin to spend more time on the Senior School site for specialist lessons, including music in our wonderful Music School.
An early introduction to Senior School life ensures a seamless transition when the times comes for them to take their final steps in their Red House education.
