Meet the Deputy Head & Head of Senior School

Miss Claire Thompson

A very warm welcome to our Senior School.

Achieving individual excellence is at the very heart of a Red House education. To excel is to be the very best you can be, and our results really do speak for themselves.

Our class sizes remain small, even by independent school standards, and pupils are encouraged to aim high.

We offer a broad academic curriculum, taught by professional and committed teachers, all highly qualified in their subject. Throughout the school, pupils are taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics separately, rather than having a general science lesson.

Children also continue to receive sport and music lessons by specialist teachers. Academic excellence should be a given in any school. However, we do not focus merely on this. We continuously encourage our pupils to become well-rounded and confident children.

We work hard to prepare them for life beyond Red House, ensuring they are adaptable and resilient, ready to face an ever changing world.

I would like to invite you to come and visit Red House and experience life in our Senior School. To arrange a tour or for further information please contact:
