PTA

The PTA organise a number of social events to bring the whole Red House family together.

The Red House Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organisation made up of parents and staff of the school. They organise a number of social events to bring the whole Red House family together.

All social events are self-financing and any profits made are used to benefit the children within the school. A wide variety of social events are held throughout the year these include a welcome BBQ,  garden fête, bonfire night, quiz nights, an annual ball and a bi-annual fashion show. The PTA also organises a range of social events for the children, including cinema nights, visits from Santa and the Easter Bunny for the younger children, discos and parties, and the prom for Year 11 leavers.

Being part of the PTA is a great way to get to know other parents across the school. The PTA meets regularly although there is no requirement to attend meetings as members are sent regular updates when there are opportunities to get involved.

To find out more about the PTA and the events they organise, you can follow them on Instagram and Facebook.

“All parents have skills that can help the PTA – you'll be amazed at what you can do! We're grateful for any time you can contribute – even if it’s only 30 minutes a year…many hands make light work and your time and talents will enable us to enrich the lives of our children further”.

Dr Karen Shaw, Chair of the PTA
