Celebrating Positive Role Models on International Men’s Day

Red House School marked International Men’s Day by celebrating the male teachers and support staff who inspire and support pupils throughout the year.

International Men’s Day provided a meaningful opportunity for the school community to recognise the positive influence of the men who motivate, teach and guide our pupils. Across Red House, there was a genuine sense of appreciation as pupils reflected on the kindness, encouragement and integrity shown by the male members of staff.

To commemorate the day, pupils took part in a special video project where they shared personal comments about the men who make a difference in their school life. They spoke warmly about those who help them succeed in lessons, support them pastorally or simply brighten their day. Their reflections highlighted the strong, respectful relationships that are central to the Red House experience.

From teachers to support staff, the contributions of our male colleagues play a vital role in creating the nurturing, community-focused environment that defines the school.

International Men’s Day offered a fitting moment to recognise their impact, but the appreciation expressed by our pupils shows that their influence is valued every single day.
