The Red House School U11 Girls Football Team has achieved an extraordinary milestone by qualifying for the ISA National Football Finals. For a small school, reaching a national final is an exceptional accomplishment and reflects the dedication, resilience, and teamwork shown by every player throughout the season.
Competing on a national stage against some of the country’s strongest independent schools, the team represented Red House with pride and determination.
A Remarkable Achievement for Red House Girls Football
Qualifying for the ISA National Football Finals is a tremendous achievement for any school team, but for Red House School, it is especially significant.
Across both Year 5 and Year 6, Red House has just 18 girls in total, making this success even more impressive. Despite being one of the smallest schools in the competition, our squad competed brilliantly against some of the largest independent schools in the country.
Their journey to the national finals is a testament to the hard work, commitment, and team spirit that defines Red House sport.
An Unforgettable Experience at St George’s Park
The girls travelled to St George’s Park, the prestigious home of England’s national football teams, for the finals.
During their visit, they had the opportunity to explore the historic grounds, elite training pitches, and trophy room. For many players, stepping into such an iconic sporting venue was an unforgettable experience and a source of great inspiration.
The visit gave pupils a rare insight into the environment where elite footballers train and prepare for international competition.
Outstanding Performances in the Group Stage
The team delivered a series of outstanding performances during the group stages, competing with confidence, skill, and determination.

⚽ Red House 3–0 Perse Prep — Win
⚽ Red House 1–1 Heath Mount — Draw
⚽ Red House 0–1 Clifton College — Narrow Loss
⚽ Red House 0–1 The Grange — Narrow Loss
The two defeats were incredibly close contests, with the team narrowly missing out against strong opposition.
These results showcased the squad’s quality and proved they could compete with the very best school teams in the country.
