SeniorSenior Prefect Team Elections 2026/2027: Democracy in Action at Red House School
Excitement filled Red House School as pupils and staff took part in voting for the Senior Prefect Team for 2026/2027. Following a series of engaging hustings, where candidates confidently presented their ideas and aspirations, our school community came together to vote for the next group of pupil leaders.

Pupil Hustings Showcase Leadership and Confidence
Before voting began, each Senior Prefect candidate took part in formal pupil hustings. Pupils delivered short presentations about themselves, explaining why they wished to represent the school and how they would contribute positively to school life. These presentations demonstrated confidence, public speaking skills, and a genuine commitment to serving the Red House School community.
Both pupils and staff were invited to cast their votes, making this a true example of democracy in action within our school. Giving pupils a voice in selecting their leaders reinforces fairness, respect, and the values that underpin daily life at Red House School. This process helps develop an understanding on how democratic systems work while encouraging responsibility and participation from a young age.
Developing Leadership, Responsibility and Community Values
The Senior Prefect Team plays a vital role in school life. Through this election process, pupils not only learn about leadership but also experience the importance of accountability, integrity, and representing others. Opportunities like this are key to developing the personal qualities that Red House School prides itself on nurturing in every pupil.
We are delighted by the enthusiasm shown by all candidates and the engagement from the whole school community during the voting process. Stay tuned as we soon reveal the members of the Senior Prefect Team for 2026/2027!
