Whole SchoolRed House School Raises Funds and Spirits for Children in Need 2025
Red House School marked BBC Children in Need 2025 with a lively day of activities, challenges and community spirit, all in support of this much-loved national charity.

The school was filled with excitement as pupils and staff came together to support BBC Children in Need through a range of fun and energetic activities. From Pudsey-themed dress-up and glitter face paint to games, competitions and a popular bake sale, every corner of the school buzzed with enthusiasm.
One of the standout moments of the day was a remarkable challenge undertaken by Mr Gresswell, who completed five 5km runs in a single school day, an extraordinary achievement totalling 25km. Pupils were thrilled to join him on several laps, cheering him on and adding to the sense of teamwork and determination.
Throughout the day, pupils demonstrated the values that make the Red House community so special: kindness, generosity and a willingness to help others. Their participation, along with the commitment of staff, helped raise valuable funds for Children in Need and highlighted the importance of supporting charities that make a real difference to young people across the UK.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, took part, or cheered from the sidelines. It was a truly memorable day of giving and togetherness.
