SeniorRed House School Celebrates Outstanding Success at U11 Athletics Invitational
Red House School enjoyed a fantastic day of sporting success at the U11 Athletics Invitational, with pupils delivering exceptional performances across a range of track and field events. Competing against Fyling Hall and Teesside High, our athletes demonstrated incredible determination, teamwork, and sporting talent throughout the competition.

An Outstanding Day of U11 Athletics
The U11 Athletics Invitational proved to be an exciting and highly competitive event, showcasing the strength, skill, and dedication of our young athletes.
From sprint races and middle-distance events to jumping and throwing disciplines, Red House pupils gave their all in every competition. Their commitment, resilience, and support for one another reflected the strong team spirit that makes Red House sport so special.
Every athlete represented the school with pride and enthusiasm, contributing to an unforgettable day.
Record-Breaking Performances on the Track and Field
Several pupils delivered truly outstanding performances, with multiple records broken during the event.
Highlights included:
- Libby – 1st in High Jump and 80m, breaking the 80m Championship record
- Martha – 1st in 600m, breaking the school record, and 2nd in High Jump
- Norah – 1st in Vortex Throw and 2nd in 600m
- Olivia – 1st in 200m
- Luca – 1st in 80m and High Jump, breaking the 80m Championship record
- Edward – 1st in Long Jump and 2nd in 80m
- James – 1st in 600m
- Oscar – 1st in Vortex Throw
These exceptional results demonstrate the high standard of athletic performance across both the girls’ and boys’ teams.

The relay events brought even more success for Red House, with both teams claiming championship titles.

The relay victories highlighted excellent teamwork, speed, and coordination, with both teams delivering impressive performances under pressure.
Strong Podium Finishes Across Multiple Events
In addition to the event winners, many other pupils achieved excellent podium finishes and strong results:
- Henry – 2nd in High Jump
- Huw – 2nd in 600m
- Aria – 2nd in 200m and 3rd in Vortex Throw
- Madison – 2nd in 80m and Long Jump
- Rafferty – 2nd in 200m and 4th in Vortex Throw
- Molly – 3rd in Long Jump
- James – 3rd in 200m
- Callum – 4th in Long Jump
The depth of talent across the team was clear to see, with outstanding performances in every discipline.
Overall Team Champions
To cap off an incredible day, both the Girls’ Red House team and Boys’ Red House team won their overall team trophies after accumulating the highest number of points across all events.
Winning both overall trophies is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication, hard work, and consistency shown by every athlete.
