We are proud to share that Red House School has been awarded the Silver School Mental Health Award from the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools.
Building on our previous Bronze award, this recognition highlights our continued commitment to supporting the wellbeing and mental health of every pupil.
As a close-knit community, we place great importance on creating a caring and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued and ready to thrive.
From our dedicated ‘Zen Den’ space to mindfulness embedded within the curriculum and opportunities for outdoor learning, we take a proactive and whole-school approach to emotional wellbeing.
A special thank you to Mrs Lindsay-Symington, Director of Wellbeing and Pastoral Care, and Mrs Nicola Cooper, Wellbeing Lead (Junior School), for their continued dedication and leadership in this vital area.
Dr Rebecca Ashcroft, Head, said:
“We are incredibly proud to have achieved the Silver School Mental Health Award. This recognition reflects the genuine care and commitment of our whole school community.
At Red House, we believe that supporting children’s emotional wellbeing is fundamental to their success, and we remain dedicated to ensuring every pupil feels supported, confident and ready to thrive in school and beyond.”
